Welcome to the World of Gnarlies!

We are those lovable gnome-like collectibles found at Renaissance Festivals throughout the U.S. for over a decade. Related to fairies, dwarves, elves, trolls, and the like, we the gnarlies are influential beings of the parallel world of the unseen, difficult to spot in the wild without clothing. So, Sandy Dale, our benefactor, lovingly dresses us - an act of magic, that renders us visible. Each of us "appears" as a one of a kind or limited edition, mixed-media sculpture filled with compassion and a kind heart.

The Gnarlies do not respond well to excessive bouncing, pinching, or dropping and are not intended as toys. However, their soft cloth bodies long to he held gently and their elegant Paperclay faces command love and respect.
