Olson Driving School at Olson Carriage and Harness

Reservations are now being accepted for the 5 day long driving school being held at the Olson Ranch in beautiful Black Forest, Colorado.  

Come, enjoy the Rocky Mountains and the Pikes Peak Region while attending our five day driving school.  Plan your Western Vacation now!  Experience the life of a teamster, feel real horsepower when you hold the lines.  Benefit from your instructor, Bob Olson's 40 years of experience in training and working with horses, as well as restoring horse drawn vehicles.  You'll have the opportunity to use top of the line equipment  and learn with horses who love their job, at a pace you will enjoy.  We work at building confidence with the emphasis on safety as the "cornerstone".  ALL LEVELS are welcome to this hands-on experience in driving singles to multiples on carts, wagons, and farm implements.  Sessions are held from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. daily, and a family-style lunch is included.  Classes filly quickly and are limited to 8 students. Cost is $795.00 per person.
