Imported from Holland in 1996, she was amongst the first crate of horses we imported. Wanda has been a mainstay in our show string since the first year. A leg injury as a two-year-old prevents her from being shown heavily in halter, but in the hitch ring she is at her best. She will drive all-day and go back in the barn with the same energy she went out with that morning. Wanda is bred to Artiest for an early February foal

Marloes van de Helligen

(Hemingway x Sjaikhe)

Imported in the fall of 1996, she was first shown as a yearling. She has been part of our show string ever since. She was named National Champion Draft Mare as a 2-year-old, not to mention multiple other championships throughout those years. She has also been used in the wheel of our hitch, worked in the plow, and filled in as a trail horse this fall. She is bred to Willo for a January foal.

Jeanee SBF

Jeanee is Megan's mare. We gave her to Megan after we nearly lost her to early weaning. She has proved to be worth her weight in gold as Megan began riding. Jeanee has been used strictly as Megan's riding horse, showing in walk-trot, hacking around home, and going on trail rides. Her performance and disposition far exceeded our expectations and it appears that she is passing the same thing on to her offspring. Jeanee is bred to Artiest for an early April foal.

Imported in 1997, she has been part of our show string since she was a yearling, going undefeated at the major shows that year. We have started working her into our hitch, she has done a bit of field work, and recently went through her first 30 days under saddle. Her sire is a German bred horse sired by Agha Khan and her dam is a ster mare who has produced multiple breeding stallions, including Wempire and N-Hitchock van de Hoogenweg, standing in at least 4 countries. Janieke is bred to the German bred stallion Minister (sired by Mithras) for a January foal.

Imported from Austria in 1999, we showed this filly as a yearling. She is a very modern mare who comes from an outstanding maternal line. She has a full sister rated Gold as a 3-year-old; needless to say we are expecting great things from this young lady.

Deva has been small since birth. But what she lacks in size she makes up for in presence. You don't miss this one in pasture. When she moves she floats and when she stops she "strikes the pose".
